CMS & CONTENT PLATFORMS

CoreMedia Systems Integrator

We are a specialist CoreMedia implementation partner with deep experience across the full platform from content modelling and editorial workflow design through to front-end delivery and long-term optimisation.

Nevado's CoreMedia expertise

The key to a successful CMS integration is what one of our clients describes as a "triangle of trust" between the client, the vendor (CoreMedia) and the implementation team (Nevado).

From the start, we have built a strong relationship with CoreMedia. We've found their team knowledgeable and easy to reach, and always ready to help. Under their guidance, we built our CoreMedia capability around one main tenet: following the platform's best practice as closely as possible so that we could get the most out of it for our client.

We build on CoreMedia Content Cloud and its Blueprint, so editors work in Studio and preview the real website before publishing. Your site will draw on a Headless Server through an API written for it, which lets the design and the content model change independently after launch.

  1. The API is written in the website's own terms, so the site asks CoreMedia for a product in a given language and gets back what it needs to build the page. When a visitor in France opens a hotel page, the site requests that hotel in French. A visitor in Japan gets the Japanese version of the same hotel, and each market can carry its own content. The pages, articles, taxonomies and translations all live in CoreMedia, and caching between the API and the site keeps the content-heavy pages quick.

  2. Studio is configured so a large editorial team can depend on it every day. Preview opens the real website on the exact page being edited, so editors see what a guest will see before anything is published. After launch, a small team can keep the whole setup in good shape, adding new content types in Studio and extending the API to match without touching the site design. When a new requirement comes up, CoreMedia's marketplace often has a plugin or connector that handles it, which saves building one from scratch.

About CoreMedia

CoreMedia began at the University of Hamburg in 1996, when the plan was to distribute content software on CD-ROM. The internet arrived and the plan changed. Today the platform sits behind brands such as Finnair and HOKA, and behind organisations like Germany's federal parliament, where security matters rather a lot.

At its centre is a content management system built for organisations that publish in many markets and languages at once. Editors can see how a page will look before it goes live, and developers can run it headless or shape it to fit almost any stack. Over the years CoreMedia has grown personalisation and customer engagement tools around it, and the platform now offers integrated AI features.
