Peter Freebody & Co have been building wooden boats on the River Thames for more than 300 years. We have designed, built and managed their website for ten of them.

The family works from Hurley in Berkshire, building slipper launches by hand, restoring Rivas, selling classic boats and keeping moorings on one of the prettiest stretches of the river. It's a trade where the work is expected to outlive everyone who touched it, which is a humbling thought for anyone in an industry that rewrites itself every couple of years. Ten years feels like a long time to us. To them it is a rounding error.
