Theatreland began in 2004 as a side project: guides for a handful of Broadway theatres, with a few of Nevado's founders helping out of hours before Nevado existed. When we set up Nevado it became one of our first clients. Twenty years on, it is one of our largest.

Today Theatreland is the world's largest collection of independent city theatre guides, covering 240+ cities across the US, UK, Canada and Australia and used by 23 million people a year. The whole network runs on a single platform we built and still run, feeding every city site and an app from one canonical record of what's on, where, and who's in it, alongside the SEO, content, email and paid search that bring theatregoers to the door. The platform does a lot of the heavy lifting, allowing the whole network to be run by a team you could fit around one table. These days, the only thing that reliably tests it is a massive Broadway onsale.
